Fashion Design Level 1 – 3 (APRIL – MAY 2022)
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
This is the beginner course, where students learn the Factory Fashion way. We will introduce the elements of design with mood boards & sketching. The student will learn machine basics, cutting, and sewing. The final product is a skirt or pajama pants, which the student has the option of modeling their creation during the final fashion show.
*Prerequisite: Level 1 or Private Lessons: Teacher approval required
The students will deepen their understanding of designing with mood boards & sketching, going over higher level techniques, like trims and color blocking. The students explore the use of fabric, creating a dress or shirt that the student has the option of modeling their creation during the final fashion show.

Bring your favorite fabric and learn the finer details of clothing construction. Teachers will work with each student’s skill level to increase proficiency or hone their techniques. The final product is a complete outfit of their design, in which they have the option to model it at the final fashion show.

Little Sewers (JUNE 2022)
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Students 7 and under learn hand and machine sewing basics. The final product is their choice of bag, skirt, or pair of shorts that the student has the option of modeling during the final fashion show.
